If you are someone like me who absolutely adores cats then boy-oh-boy I have got some news for you. You can now roam a gloomy futuristic cyber-city, packed with robots, poorly lit with bright neon lights, as a CAT in a Game! Yes you heard me right! The game is called Stray…
Stray is a third-person adventure game set in a murky cyber-city populated by robots and dangerous creatures.
Moreover, the protagonist, a Cat roams the surroundings to unravel an ancient mystery with the goal to eventually escaping the city.
Now when I first got to know about the game amid all these new game teasers and the PS5 console reveal, I instantly fell in love.
Not only because of my affectionate nature towards our feline inhabitants but also because of the entire setting of the game.
Which is absolutely exciting and I am hopeful this will be such a unique and pleasant experience.
The game appears to be right on track with the release of PS5. However, the launch date is still unknown.

Look at that tiny backpack and those tiny paws: I love our feline friend already.
The game was developed by BlueTwelve and is published by Annapurna Interactive.
“Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed neon-lit alleys of a decaying cyber-city and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly,” publisher Annapurna Interactive states.
“Players will play as a stray cat, roaming surroundings high and low, defend against unforeseen threats and solve the mysteries of this unwelcoming place inhabited by nothing but unassuming droids and dangerous creatures. Lost, alone and separated from family, players must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cyber-city and find the way home.”
Of course people are already obsessed with the game. Usually, anything that has to do with cats breaks the internet.
What’s in that backpack?
I wonder what’s in that tiny backpack of our furry friend. Treats I suppose. To nibble here and there.
Stray gives us an opportunity to interact as a cat with a strange world. What more to ask for.
The game’s release date will be somewhere in 2021.
